  1. Devoid of foundersWhen the company went public in year 1990, Lerner was fired and Bosack quit his job in her support. Both of them moved out of the company and immediately sold two-thirds of their stake in the company for a whopping $170 million. Although researchers remark that had they held onto their shares it would have been worth billions today. Until 2014, two-thirds of the Cisco’s share were worth around $90 billion.(source)
  2. Revenue and services At the end of Q4 FY’15, Cisco’s revenue accounts up to $12.8 billion. Apart from this, it has rendered services of $ 2.9 billion and products of $10 billion.
  3. Acquisitions Cisco has acquired more than 170 companies since its first purchase of Crescendo Communications in 1993. Recently,Cisco acquired IoT specialist ParStream and security threat and protection company Lancope to promote and expand its “Security Everywhere” Plan.
